Jr Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Transaction posting.
• Reconciliation of bank and credit card accounts.
• Review and issuance of reports (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cashflow, etc.).
• Financial analysis to identify trends and patterns that can aid in decision-making.
• Customer support.
• Collaboration with other departments such as finance, sales, and operations to ensure accuracy in reports and data.
• Process improvement to identify and enhance existing accounting processes for increased efficiency.

Requisitos

Requirements and skills:

• Studying Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
• At least 2/3 years of experience in related work fields.
• Excellent organizing abilities.
• Great attention to detail.
• Good with numbers and figures and an analytical acumen.
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
• Excellent knowledge of Google Sheets.
• Advanced MS Office knowledge (particularly Excel).
• Advanced student in accounting, finance, or relevant field.
• Good level of spoken and written English skills.
• Ability to work well in a team, especially if the role involves interaction with other departments.
• Problem-solving skills to address any accounting or financial challenges that may arise.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interaction with clients and colleagues.
• Strong commitment to the company's culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, as well as passion for the startup and VC ecosystem.

Specific Accounting Skills:

• Inventory management: Familiarity with managing inventory accounts and reconciling related records.
• Cost calculation: Ability to calculate costs of different industries.

Specific Industries:

• Cryptocurrency and blockchain: Experience with accounting and compliance in the cryptocurrency and blockchain sectors.
• AI companies: Familiarity with accounting needs of AI and technology companies.
• Fintech: Understanding of accounting practices and regulations related to financial technology companies.
• E-commerce: Experience with accounting for e-commerce businesses, including sales tracking and revenue management.
